All sessions take place virtually via a secure telehealth platform. I am not able to see clients who are outside of Washington State.

Our first meeting is 60 minutes so we have time to get to know each other, discuss your goals, review policies, and discuss how we will work together. After that, ongoing sessions are 50 minutes.

When we first start working together, I recommend weekly sessions for at least 12 weeks. After that, we can discuss if changing the frequency of sessions makes sense for you and your goals.

Some people have shorter-term goals and work with me for a few months, while others see me for longer. It all depends on what your needs and goals are.

If at any point you decide therapy isn’t working for you, you are always able to end therapy. I recommend a final session so we have an opportunity to review your progress, explore your plans going forward, and say goodbye.

It depends! I know that may sound like an annoying ‘therapist answer’ but here’s the thing - therapy works best when it’s focused on what you need. I don’t have a one-size-fits-all approach because you are your own unique person. I’m also not a ‘sit back and nod’ therapist. You can expect me to listen to you, challenge you, and roll up my sleeves to do the hard work of healing and changing with you.

I draw from and use various modalities, primarily Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Mindful Self-Compassion.

I do not accept insurance.

You may have out-of-network benefits which may reimburse you for part of my fee. If that’s the case you can submit a superbill (a type of receipt) to your insurance provider. I am happy to provide a monthly superbill to anyone who requests it.

You are responsible for contacting your insurance provider to ask about their out of network policies.
